The reason these companies are bing fined is because they are breaking the rules of the area that they are located in. People are living in these country communities. They are trying to operate a business that doesn’t belong in the area because it’s cheaper for them to operate! This is just another case of companies trying to cut corners instead of operating properly….they should be continued to be fined….these areas that are other people’s homes…have a little respect!

It is not just looks When a company is improperly licensed many things can happen. Who monitors the soil from illegal dumping of oil? Who monitors taxes paid? No one if the proper licenses are not in order. I suggest for parking that truckers could group together in a coop, also for insurance etc. No one seems to mind a trucker not getting paid but if it were an employee, look out. Hopefully 1 of those lots grows carrots for the bunnies and for older neighbours.

The article appears to leave out details of the incident that led to the fine.

What was the actual charge? By whom? Was there a warning? Was it disregarded? Was this a simple case of a single owner operator and his tractor trailer or did this involve a fleet of trucks? Is this a case of citizen harassment or an owner operator blatanly disregarding the laws?

I am a retired AZ driver (23 yrs ). I think the manufactured shortage of AZ drivers is laughable.
If trucking companies would stop cheating from money . A few examples… drove from point A to point B for 2 weeks exact same route, freight, border …. everything . On my pay check , no two days matched or was even close ( up or down about 100 miles) Anther company denied ever getting receipts for truck cash expenses. Another place flat out refused to pay me. Two weeks wages, two weeks holdback and one week vacation pay. Total this company $5000+. Yet another company promised 500 – 600 miles per day. I got paid 350 for the week.
See a pattern forming ??

I wish these companies and others like them , a constant shortage of drivers and freight.

BTW …if you’re thinking of getting into it , my best advice is run in the opposite direction.

Caledon average house has 20 acres so the residents can have a pet rabbit.

Sure the truck company is at fault as well. But a big reminder to Caledon residents about safety!!

You have more broken ride on lawnmower running into eahcother and drunk dirt bike and snowmobile operators then transport trucks being parked to feed the country and it’s needs.

This is more about Caledon residents want to cut more grass then they can use.
