Rizon introduces two EV models, enhanced warranty for 2025 orders

Rizon, Daimler Truck’s all-electric brand, launched two new trucks for the 2025 model year—the e18Mx and the e18Lx. These models come with an increased payload capacity of 18,850 lbs, designed to optimize urban and local delivery operations.

Rizon will begin accepting orders for the 2025 model year which will feature an enhanced warranty package that covers the powertrain and high-voltage electrical equipment for eight years or 120,000 miles, and the high-voltage batteries for eight years or 185,000 miles.

“These new models are part of our ongoing commitment to providing fleet operators robust and efficient zero-emission options,” said Andreas Deuschle, global head of Rizon Truck, in a news release. “By increasing the gross vehicle weight and updating the warranty, we are taking a significant step forward to offer the best solutions for businesses.”
