Study of Gold Mine Tailings Utilization as Fine Aggregate Material for Producing Shotcrete Based on Concept of Green Technology

Shotcrete is concrete that is applied by spraying. The use of shotcrete from year-to-year increase. Because sand is a material for the manufacture of shotcrete, the volume of sand will increase as well. Sand excavation on a large scale can lead to disruption of the environment. Reuse of tailings for shotcrete can reduce the volume of sand used. In addition, utilize waste materials will reduce the contamination surrounding environment. This study is a continuation of previous studies, that the use of tailings as conventional concrete manufacture. The results showed that the optimum tailings substitution of 25% both for conventional concrete or shotcrete. Laboratory studies conducted at the Civil Engineering Laboratory of University of Bandar Lampung and PT Semen Baturaja. Research using a shotcrete equipment done in PT Natarang Mining, Way Linggo, Lampung. Type of admixture used is monomer composite material under the trade name Polcon. The compressive strength achieved in the laboratory was 32.7 MPa when not using Polcon as admixture. When using Polcon, the compressive strength reached 33.5 MPa. Crushing compressive strength of shotcrete in the field trial is 20.3 MPa. For studying the micro structure of tailings, cement, mortar with tailings 100%, 50% and without tailings, the Scanning Electron Microscopy micro photo are done.

Analysis the Quality of Website Service Information System Academic Integrated ( SIATER ) Bandar Lampung University Using Pieces Methods

The use of information systems based on websites growing especially in providing facilities educational world to get some information that can be accessed online or connected to the internet. Of this research, the quality of websites academic integrated information system ( siater.ubl.ac.id ) measured by using the method pieces. Method pieces is engineering analysis method is used by j.lwhitten, l.dbentley, and k.cdittman in book called “system analysis method, 2004” is having 6 variable ( performance, information, economis, control, efficiency, service). From the analysis result and results questionnaire distributed to 317 respondents then can be concluded that website information system academic integrated ( siater.ubl.ac.id ) has met aspects existing on method pieces. But of its a low value to some questions, management website advised to give information more detailed and understandable.

Wifi Network Design for High Performance

Indoor wireless network connectivity is strongly influenced by the presence of interference. Usually transmitted signal can be received in free space or by more than one pathway, because the effects of multipath propagation such as reflection, refraction and scattering of radio waves by the structure of the building, and these effects may be a phenomenon called multipath fading. Multipath Fading is triggered by the presence of loads and very high performance. Propagation model based on user capacity has been identified for possible outcomes, which provide the propagation characteristics as the initial evaluation. Two wireless propagation models, namely empirical and theoretical models related to the coverage, capacity and performance of wireless network users. Empirical and theoretical models used for laying planning system. In addition, this comparison can help to identify the accuracy of the survey measurements when wireless indoor monitoring and it can help to provide an estimate of the coverage and performance of wireless networks in the form of a new topology, along with contour display. Optimization of the planning system laying Wi-Fi user capacity planned by generating an average RSSI reaches -40 dbm to -55 dbm with power 17-18 dbm and canals that channel 1 is applied to 11 non-overlapping in the network design consisting of AP in the adjacent lot. The optimization results are reflected in the new topology along with contour display and spread throughout the area.
