Kajian Fungsi Nilai Mutlak dan Grafiknya

Fungsi nilai mutlak adalah suatu fungsi yang aturannya memuat nilai mutlak. Nilai mutlak suatu bilangan real x, dinyatakan dengan |x|, didefinisikan sebagaiFungsi ini merupakan fungsi khusus yang menarik, karena memiliki ciri khas yang berbeda dari fungsi lain terutama proses pencarian solusi dan penyajian yang berbentuk grafik. Fungsi nilai mutlak dapat diselesaikan dan digambar grafiknya dengan cara mengubah bentuk aturan fungsi nilai mutlak tersebut sehingga diperoleh suatu fungsi dengan banyak persamaan yang memenuhi daerah definisinya. Fungsi nilai mutlak memiliki limit di suatu titik namun tidak terdiferensialkan dititiktersebut, sehingga fungsi nilai mutlak tidak kontinu di titik tersebut.

To reduce production costs, the design of heat exchanger is very effective in advance of buying a ready-made exchanger. The design of a calculation of the dimensions of heat exchanger shell and tube type using computerized analysis method Heat Transfer Research Inc.. (HTRI) and manual calculation methods of analysis. Dimensional calculation of heat exchanger is intended to determine the quality of a heat exchanger based on the overall heat transfer coefficient, fouling factors, and pressure drop will occur. Designed heat exchanger is a heat exchanger shell and tube type 1 (one) pass shell and 1 (one) pass counter flow tube with a hot fluid and cold fluid ammonia gas form of water based on field data obtained at PT Sriwijaya Palembang Fertilizer. Dimensional analysis of the calculation results obtained that the heat exchanger has been designed to meet the minimum requirements of the fouling factor has been determined. Quality of the heat exchanger will be increased in proportion to the decrease in the value of fouling factors, the declining value of the magnitude of the pressure drop and heat exchanger dimensions.

Laboratory assistants or frequently called Laboran are those who assist lecturers while teaching in the laboratory, the support of a laboran can improved the performance and service in the laboratory. Therefore, Laboran's performance should be optimal. For that,it needed an information system that can provide information laboran's performance that can be taken at any time for decision making. The current problem is that it is time to analyze the ratio of one to the other laboratory to determine the best or not the best performance. Moreover, because the files and data were many and stacked. Moving data from manual to computer also takes a long time. With Collaborative Application of Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) Method and Analitycal Hierarchi Process (AHP) Method in Assessment of Laboratory Assistant Performance (Case Study: Faculty of Computer Science UNSRI), able to analyze many data in the form of quantitative and qualitative, and able to produce a computerized system in Decision making performance appraisal of laboratory assistant.
